Ingredients

Scale

Creating these charming pancakes is simple and requires just a few ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need:

Pancakes

  • 150g Whole Wheat Flour
  • 10g Potato Starch
  • 30g Sugar (beet sugar)
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 10g Baking Powder
  • 200ml Soy Milk (or water)
  • Canola Oil (for cooking)

Toppings

  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries (or any fruits you like)
  • Coconut Whipped Cream (or whipped cream of your choice)
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Marshmallows

Instructions

Creating these festive pancakes is as easy as following these simple steps:

1. Make the Pancake Batter

  1. In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, potato starch, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Gradually add the soy milk (or water) to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously until you achieve a smooth batter.

2. Cook the Pancakes

  1. Heat a small amount of canola oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Pour the batter into the pan, shaping one large round pancake for Santa and several smaller rounds for the snowman.
  3. Cook each pancake until golden brown on both sides, ensuring they are cooked through.

3. Assemble Santa Claus

  1. Place the large pancake on a plate.
  2. Cut strawberries into slices to create Santa’s hat, filling the top third of the pancake.
  3. Use whipped cream to form Santa’s beard and the brim of his hat.
  4. Cut a small piece of strawberry for Santa’s nose and use chocolate syrup to draw his eyes and mouth.
  5. Top the hat with a marshmallow for added charm.

4. Assemble the Snowman

  1. Stack two or three smaller pancakes to form the snowman’s body.
  2. Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top for the snowman’s head.
  3. Use chocolate chips for the eyes, a sliced strawberry for the nose, and chocolate syrup for the mouth.
  4. Add blueberries for buttons down the snowman’s body and decorate the plate with raspberries for a festive touch.
