How to Make Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

- In another bowl, beat softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients in batches, stirring gently until combined.
- Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips with a spatula until evenly distributed.
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, place dough balls two inches apart on prepared sheets.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
