Crispy Tofu Bites Preparation
- Press Tofu: Wrap extra-firm tofu in clean kitchen towels and weigh it down for 15–20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cube Tofu: Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
- Season Tofu: Toss cubes with soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat with Cornstarch: Sprinkle cornstarch over the seasoned tofu and toss until evenly coated.
- Heat Oil: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to medium-high (about 350°F).
- Fry Tofu: Add tofu cubes in a single layer; fry for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- Drain: Transfer fried tofu to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Dip Preparation
- Combine Dip: Whisk together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, chopped herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Chill for 10 minutes.
