  • 6 cups Tortilla chips Crushed
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup Jalapeños Sliced, optional
  • 1 cup Black olives Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Green onions Thinly sliced
Garnishing
  • 1 cup Sour cream Dolloped on top
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro Chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat with onion and garlic for about 5 minutes.
  3. Season the beef with taco seasoning and stir in tomato sauce; simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Layer crushed tortilla chips in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chips.
  3. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  4. Top with the remaining cheese, jalapeños, and black olives.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  6. Garnish with green onions, cilantro, and sour cream.
