Preparation
- Preheat your oven-safe skillet at 350°F while prepping apples.
- Core and thinly slice 4 Granny Smith apples into 1/4" pieces, toss with 2 tbsp lemon juice.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in skillet over medium heat, add apples, sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, cook for 5 minutes.
Topping Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup quick oats.
- Add 4 tbsp cold diced butter, blend until crumbs resemble coarse bits.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over apples, bake skillet at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Serving
- Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
