- Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels, then season generously on both sides with salt and freshly ground pepper for even flavor.
- Place a nonstick skillet over medium heat and let it warm for about 2 minutes until lightly shimmering.
- Add several tablespoons of unsalted butter to the hot skillet and let it melt fully into a rich, foamy mixture, about 30 seconds.
- Add the minced garlic to the bubbling butter and stir continuously, cooking until fragrant and just turning golden, about 20 to 30 seconds.
- Carefully lay the seasoned fillets in the buttered skillet and cook without moving for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Gently tilt the skillet and use a spoon to baste the fillets with the foaming garlic butter every minute.
- Once cooked, remove the skillet from heat, sprinkle chopped parsley over the fish, then drizzle fresh lemon juice.
