Directions
  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels, then season generously on both sides with salt and freshly ground pepper for even flavor.
  2. Place a nonstick skillet over medium heat and let it warm for about 2 minutes until lightly shimmering.
  3. Add several tablespoons of unsalted butter to the hot skillet and let it melt fully into a rich, foamy mixture, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the bubbling butter and stir continuously, cooking until fragrant and just turning golden, about 20 to 30 seconds.
  5. Carefully lay the seasoned fillets in the buttered skillet and cook without moving for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  6. Gently tilt the skillet and use a spoon to baste the fillets with the foaming garlic butter every minute.
  7. Once cooked, remove the skillet from heat, sprinkle chopped parsley over the fish, then drizzle fresh lemon juice.
