Puff Pastry Bites
  • 1 sheet thawed puff pastry sheets
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese cubed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 10 leaves fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
Garnish and Serving
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • 5 leaves extra basil leaves for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut thawed puff pastry into 2½-inch squares.
  3. Layer mozzarella, cherry tomato, and basil on each square. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fold corners towards the center and brush edges with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melty.
  6. Drizzle warm balsamic glaze over baked bites before serving.
