  • 1 lb Ground chicken Use fresh, lean chicken
  • 3 cloves Garlic Mince finely
  • 3 stalks Green onions Chop thinly
  • 3 Tbsp Soy sauce Adds umami flavor
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh ginger Grated
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil Imparts nutty aroma
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Assembly & Frying
  • 20 pieces Wonton wrappers Fresh or frozen
  • ½ inch Vegetable oil For frying
  • few drops Water To moisten edges

Method
 

For the Filling
  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, green onions, soy sauce, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until evenly blended.
For Assembly & Frying
  1. Lay a wrapper flat, place 1 tsp filling in center, moisten edges, fold into a triangle, pressing edges firmly to seal.
  2. In a large skillet, pour ½ inch vegetable oil and heat over medium-high until shimmering (about 350°F).
  3. Carefully add wontons in batches; fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Use a slotted spoon to transfer bites to paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
