How to Make Honey Garlic Chicken Bites
  1. Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then toss evenly in cornstarch.
  2. Warm vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in batches, fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes per side.
  3. Use a slotted spoon to transfer chicken bites onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  4. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and cook over medium heat for about 30 seconds until fragrant and lightly golden.
  5. Pour in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and water or broth, stir to combine, then bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Continue simmering sauce for 2–3 minutes until it reduces slightly.
  7. Return chicken bites to the skillet, toss thoroughly to coat each piece in the glaze, and serve immediately.
