How to Make Honey Garlic Chicken Bites
- Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then toss evenly in cornstarch.
- Warm vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in batches, fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes per side.
- Use a slotted spoon to transfer chicken bites onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and cook over medium heat for about 30 seconds until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Pour in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and water or broth, stir to combine, then bring to a gentle simmer.
- Continue simmering sauce for 2–3 minutes until it reduces slightly.
- Return chicken bites to the skillet, toss thoroughly to coat each piece in the glaze, and serve immediately.
