Ingredients
  

For the Tofu
  • 1 block Firm tofu Press well to remove excess moisture for crispy bites
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Lightly coats tofu for crunch
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Honey Adds sticky sweetness
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced for punchy flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce For savory umami
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar Adds tangy brightness
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil For a nutty undertone
  • to taste Red pepper flakes Optional for heat
For Garnish and Serving
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped green onions For freshness
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds Toasted for crunch

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Press a block of firm tofu between paper towels for 20 minutes to remove moisture. Slice into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Gently coat cubes with cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Warm 2 tablespoons of neutral oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Arrange cubes in a single layer and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, blend honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  6. Reduce heat to low, pour sauce over tofu, and gently toss for 2 minutes until glaze thickens.
  7. Transfer bites to a serving plate and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
