  3. Mix base filling: In a bowl, beat cream cheese, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until smooth.
  4. Add breadcrumbs: Fold in breadcrumbs for texture, plus optional cooked bacon bits or chopped spinach.
  5. Stuff caps: Spoon 1 generous tablespoon of filling into each mushroom cavity, mounding slightly.
  6. Bake to perfection: Place mushrooms on the prepared sheet and bake about 20 minutes.
  7. Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with extra parsley or red pepper flakes, then serve hot.
